Did You Know: to get started with booking your move to the US, we need a copy of your work visa and letter of employment. If your new employer in the US has an immigration lawyer, they may handle the visa for you.

About Our Process and Price Quotes
Our estimates are so accurate because we send a Boyd moving consultant to visit your home and make a survey of what you need to move and the services you want. For example, most customers want packing services, and some want custom crating for valuable antiques or artwork.
Most moving companies provide a lump-sum estimate, but Boyd provides full transparency with a detailed estimate. We itemize things like the protection plan cost, the transportation cost, etc. We explain all the details and answer any questions you may have.
How Pricing and Estimates Work
In a nutshell, the cost of your move is calculated by the weight of your goods times distance.
To keep things simple, the distance is calculated from city centre to city centre.

For people who want to store belongings for a few years, we recommend you store them with us. This allows us to control the cost, and guarantees your rate won’t change for the duration.
